The lead singer and drummer of rock band Muse switched places for a performance on Italian television, after being told to mime.
Frontman Matt Bellamy could be seen grinning widely as he played an apparently random rhythm, frequently missing beats to point at the camera and wave his sticks above his head.
Drummer Dominic Howard enjoyed a brief taste of the limelight as he mimed his way through the band’s hit single Uprising while pretending to play the guitar.
